Nurses and midwives make up the majority of the health workforce. We are a valuable and vital resource in the healthcare system and we must do what we can to support and care for those who support and care for so many in our society.
The inaugural VNHP Nurses and Midwives Wellness Conference is an opportunity for nurses, midwives and students of nursing from across Victoria to take time out of their busy schedule to participate in an event which has been designed to promote a healthy mind, body and soul.
This conference will feature an exciting and engaging program which will include identification of unhealthy workplace behaviours, strategies to best deal with these and an introduction to a range of innovative ideas and thinking. In addition, it will be an opportunity to take some time out to simply recognise the importance of caring for yourself, and having some fun. You’ll hear from some of Australia’s most engaging and informative speakers as well as having access to a range of activities and products which I’m sure you’ll find appealing and beneficial.
